Frank Williams' people would take little red suuma along as bait; rub it down until white with wild peas. Make cod about four feet long out of young spruce roots and make open mouth out of two cedar lines, one for lower, one for upper lip. Put it in water. Then take line (not a real line) made of fine spruce roots; tie suuma at end and put it down in cod's mouth to imitate biting. Then pray that cod should bite when you ut out your suuma in fishing.
