People

Many individuals have contributed to this research over the years. First of all must be mentioned those Nuuchahnulth people who contributed to Sapir's original research and to the research of others cited in these pages. They are cited individually in Sapir's own work and in the list of textual materials included on this site.

In addition to them, there are the Nuuchahnulth consultants who provided us directly, not only with data, but also translations  and insights into the analysis. These include Ms. Mary Jane Dick, Mrs. Sarah Webster, and Mrs. Kathy Robinson. The late Ms. Caroline Little has indirectly contributed by her example and by the work that she has done for her language. The same holds true for the late Dr. George Louie.

The following were members of the research team for the AHRC-supported Nuuchahnulth project which came to a close in September, 2006.
